Home again, home again, jiggedy jig

Friday morning, our plane arrived at about 5 am. On board with us were two tour groups of about 150 Brazilian teenagers going to New York City. It was an interesting flight.

We are still recuperating from the flight, but all are well. We had an open house for Logan Friday night because he, his mother and Makayla are flying out on Tuesday to see his grandparents in Utah.

It was a great trip, and it is great to have Logan home again.

Elevator scale

In an elevator in the hotel where we stayed, there was a scale on the wall. As you can see, the elevator maxes out at 12 people and 840 kilos. The green bars in the middle showed the weight in the elevator. When our group of eight was in the elevator, it went up to one green bar below the red bar at the top.

Families that the missionaries have taught and members of the ward come to see missionaries off at the airport. Here we are with several.
It was great to see the love they have for Logan.

Shane at the beach in Pecen.

Below are photos of us at the vacation home of Pres. Cabral, who used to be a stake president. He and Logan became great friends, and he and his wife invited us to spend the day at their beach home in a small town called Pecen. It was very relaxing there.
